What it does today
Arrangement
Drag clips between tracks, copy with Alt, trim from either edge, draw fades from the corners, split at the marker and duplicate. Snapping follows your zoom level, and every edit can be undone.
Non-destructive audio
Clips are windows onto your recordings, so cutting and trimming never change the audio files. Waveforms show the clip's gain and fades as you hear them.
Mixer, buses and sends
Every channel has pan, stereo width, phase, and up to eight pre- or post-fader sends. Buses can feed other buses, and the routing menus never offer a connection that would make a feedback loop. Solo keeps the whole signal path audible.
Channel EQ and compressor
An equaliser on every channel, edited by dragging points on its curve, and a compressor with a gain-reduction meter. A higher-precision EQ and a compressor with several characters are being built now.
Sample browser
Point it at a folder of samples, click a file to hear it, and drag it onto a track. Files can also be dropped straight from Finder: WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, Ogg and M4A.
Export
Render the mix to a 32-bit float WAV file. Rendering runs offline, so the export does not depend on how fast your computer plays back.
